What is included in a factory quote
A manufacturer quote for custom soccer jerseys normally covers fabric, sublimation printing, cutting and sewing, standard woven neck labels, individual poly bags and export carton packing. Free digital mockups (we send them within 24–48 hours), size charts and tech packs are part of the service. Not included by default: shipping, import duties in your country, and physical samples (which are usually credited back on the bulk order).
When you compare two quotes, check that both are quoting the same thing. The most common differences hidden inside a “cheaper” price are: 140 gsm fabric instead of 160–180 gsm, sponsor logos and numbers charged separately, no poly bags, or an EXW price where the shipping is added later.

Prices are ex-factory in US dollars (converted from our RMB price list at 7.1; they move slightly with the exchange rate), for standard fabric, full sublimation, woven neck label, poly bag and export carton. Shipping and import duty are extra. A physical sample is charged at the single-piece rate and credited on the bulk order.
1. Quantity – the biggest lever
Sublimation has almost no set-up cost, so small orders are possible (our MOQ is 10 pieces per style) and the list prices above apply from the MOQ upward. Unit price still falls as quantity rises because cutting, printing and sewing time per piece drops:
- 10–49 pieces: list price
- 50–199 pieces: typical club or school order – list price, free size-set sample credit
- 200–999 pieces: league, team dealer or brand order – ask for the volume rate (typically 5–10 % below list)
- 1,000+ pieces: negotiated pricing, often with fabric dyed or knitted to order
Quantity is counted per style, not per size. A club ordering 18 home jerseys and 18 away jerseys is two styles of 18, so each is priced at the 10–49 tier. If both use the same fabric and the same layout with only colours swapped, tell the factory – we can often price them as one run.
2. Fabric
Most club jerseys use 100 % polyester interlock or bird-eye mesh in 160–180 gsm, which is the standard fabric in the list prices. Upgraded fabrics (micro-mesh, engineered jacquard, recycled polyester, spandex blends) are priced as a fabric upgrade: +US$0.60 per jersey or +US$1.10 per jersey-and-shorts set for upgrade A, and +US$1.70 per jersey for the premium tier. 3. Decoration method
Full sublimation is the most cost-effective way to get an all-over design with unlimited colours, sponsor logos and numbers in one step – there is no per-colour charge. Adding embroidery (a woven crest, for example) or heat-transfer badges on top of sublimation adds US$0.5–2 per application depending on stitch count and size. 4. Names, numbers and player-specific details
With sublimation, individual names and numbers are printed into the fabric at no extra cost as long as the roster is supplied before production. Heat-pressed or tackle-twill numbers are quoted separately by size and colour count. Men’s and women’s cuts are the same price; youth sizes are about US$0.70 less per jersey and US$0.40 less per shorts, as shown in the table.
5. Shipping and duties
Express courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is the usual choice for club orders under 100 kg – 5–8 days door to door. As a rule of thumb, 100 sublimated jerseys weigh about 25 kg packed and cost US$150–260 by express to the US, UK or Australia, i.e. US$1.5–2.6 per jersey. Sea freight makes sense above roughly 300 kg and brings that down to well under US$1 per piece, at the cost of 25–40 days in transit. Worked example: a 60-piece club order
A club orders 60 home jerseys (160 gsm interlock, full sublimation, sponsor logos, names and numbers) plus 60 shorts, shipped by express to the UK.
- Jerseys: 60 × US$5.60 = US$336
- Shorts: 60 × US$2.50 = US$150
- Size-set sample (5 pieces, credited on bulk): US$0 net
- Express shipping, about 30 kg: US$210
- Factory total delivered: US$696, or US$11.60 per jersey-and-shorts set before UK duty and VAT
UK import duty (12 % on the goods value) and VAT (20 % on goods + shipping + duty) add about US$210, so the landed cost is roughly US$15 per set. Shipping is the biggest variable at this size: the same 60 sets by sea would land at about US$12.50, but take five weeks longer.
Typical lead time
Samples in 5–10 days after artwork approval; bulk production in 10–20 days; plus shipping. If your season start is fixed, work back from that date and add one week of buffer. Rush production in 7–10 days is possible for orders under 200 pieces, subject to line capacity – ask before you commit to a date and we confirm whether a surcharge applies.
